INDIVIDUAL THERAPY, DEVELOPMENTAL TRAUMA, LIFE TRANSITIONS
I am a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern dedicated to providing compassionate, inclusive, and justice-oriented care. My clinical expertise includes supporting clients navigating anxiety, depression, grief, identity development, and major life transitions. I practice from a trauma-informed and holistic perspective, recognizing that mental health is deeply connected to the systems, relationships, and cultural contexts we live in.
I am especially passionate about creating affirming therapeutic spaces for LGBTQIA+ communities and working from a lens that acknowledges the impact of racial justice, systemic oppression, and intergenerational trauma. My focus emphasizes the importance of the mind-body connection, integrating somatic techniques to help clients achieve greater self-awareness and healing. My goal is to walk alongside clients as they heal, reclaim their voice, and build lives rooted in authenticity, resilience, and connection.
My counseling style is rooted in humanistic and existential theories, reflecting a deep commitment to viewing each client as a unique individual with their own strengths and potential for growth. Through compassion, empathy, and collaboration, I strive to create a safe and supportive environment for clients, fostering meaningful connections and empowering them on their journey toward healing and personal growth.
